The diploma was launched taking due to an acute shortage of trained workforce in the field. Industry stalwarts were asked whatwere those key skills that they were looking at in new recruits,andaccordingly curricula was structured.
There has been no looking back since then. In 2003, EMDI opened centres in Pune & Bangalore and in 2004, they opened their first international operations at Dubai KnowledgeVillage. Equipped with excellent infrastructural and recreational facilities, KV enhances the learning and teaching experience for both students and faculty. |

| Post the Dubai launch, EMDI went ahead and diversified their course offerings and today the Institute trains students in Events, Advertising, Graphic Design, PR & Journalism, besides new initiatives in Radio, DJ’ing and Wedding Planning through a combination of full time and part time courses for both students and working professionals.
All the courses are based on practical hands-on delivery using an Experience Transfer Approach to training. For instance, to further your career in Journalism or Event Management, you will be trained by professional Journalists or Event Managers.
